Description
From auto mode to steering your camera yourself, in three blocks of 1 hour 40 minutes.
Block 1: The exposure triangle — shutter speed and aperture, and why they're linked. You set your camera to A/Av and S/Tv, and know when to choose which mode.
Block 2: Exposing with confidence — ISO, the histogram and the light meter. You judge exposure by the histogram instead of the screen, and correct the light meter with exposure compensation.
Block 3: Seeing and framing — composition, the rule of thirds and the golden ratio. You deliberately place your subject in the frame and use lines and negative space to guide the eye.
Includes personal feedback per block. Enough to shoot differently starting tomorrow.
